The courses consist of both practical knowledge and hands-on experience with the Python language and the programming techniques used in the industry. Through the elective courses, students will be able to apply the knowledge obtained to specific areas of interest using Python.

Use of the CNC Lathe is critical for producing higher tolerance and more complex machined parts. Students who have completed the manual lathe class will learn basic CAM skills using Fusion 360 such as CNC feed and speed calculations and tool path selection along with basic control operation.

In this course, you’ll build upon your basic Python skills, learning more advanced topics such as object-oriented programming patterns, development of graphical user interfaces, data management, threading, unit testing, and creating and installing packages and executable applications.
If you’ve ever struggled in a programming class because you wanted the instructor to put programming concepts in plain and simple English and if you’ve ever wanted a programming course to be about stuff you could actually use at work – this class is for you.
This is an introductory Python programming course which provides a strong foundation that will allow students to further their skills with additional education. The course begins with an overview of Python and quickly has students building simple applications.
