The curriculum is broken up into 4 stages, Foundation, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. At the end of this course, your child would have achieved a high level of competency in Computational Thinking – logical and analytical thinking.
The curriculum is broken up into 4 stages, Foundation, Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. At the end of this course, your child would have achieved a high level of competency in Computational Thinking – logical and analytical thinking. He/She will be able to code proficiently using Python programming language. Currently, Python is one of the most popular programming languages used in academia as well as industry.
Our curriculum is highly rigorous and academically-driven. It is reviewed quarterly by Dr. Oka Kurniawan, SUTD Senior Lecturer, to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant in today’s ever-changing technology landscape. Its framework is based upon the Computer science degree syllabus. As our school is closely associated with Singapore University of Technology and Design, it gives students a platform to pursue their passion in technology further and build up substantial portfolios through individual project works and presentations.
The Lab’s Vision and Guiding Principles will help us achieve our goal in becoming the leading Coding lab in Singapore and internationally, achieving excellence in Computational Thinking in education and promoting consistent values throughout our community so that your child succeed in the future economy.
This exploratory camp introduces kids to basic programming concepts, builds spatial and problem-solving skills, and instills creativity and resilience.
Learn what a micro-controller is and how can it be programmed to control the robots to move around, react to it's environment, rotate it's arm forward or backwards by 45 degrees, 90 degrees, 180 degrees or even 360 degrees.
In this robotics class, students will start off learning engineering, problem solving, and programming skills. Using the VEX Robotics Design System, students will build robots, participate in engineering challenges, and work both on their own and in groups.
They will learn to do basic computer coding to bring their builds to life and make their robots perform different functions. The projects will reinforce various science, technology and computational concepts, as well as challenge their logical reasoning and problem solving skills.
Tinker X is an open, self-directed learning programme for coding and engineering enrichment, blending instruction and independent study. We give you the tools you need to learn, and support you as you learn, whether that’s following a curriculum from us working on a self-initiated project.
