Our Health and safety and Food safety courses are accredited by The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH). Our First Aid and Basic Life Support courses are accredited by Work Safe.

This course explores ‘What is diabetes’ and the basic anatomy and physiology of what happens to cause diabetes.
The aim of this course is to equip participants with the knowledge to confidently provide the best possible care when supporting people with diabetes and how to admister insulin.
This qualification is designed to provide you with an understanding of the different types of diabetes and how they can occur, how the onset of Type 2 diabetes can be delayed with lifestyle changes, diabetes diagnosis, initial care and develop your understanding of ongoing care.
This course has been developed to promote an introduction to diabetes and it will provide learners with the knowledge they require to understand diabetes as a condition.
