Course Details

At least 90% of all quality problems can be solved at the operating levels.  Some quality control (QC) tools enable personnel to identify problems as they arise and timeously propose corrective actions.

A root cause analysis (RCA) must be performed for intricate problems that have already affected output to identify the underlying causes and prevent recurrence.

Why Should an Individual Attend?

In order to boost the mantra that "quality is everyone's responsibility", it is desirable that employees are equipped and enabled to resolve work-related issues and offer suggestions for improvements in production and maintenance methods.  This program provides insight on how to maintain/improve quality of product and service delivery.

Outcomes

  • The seven QC tools covered in this program present pro-active interventions to resolve problems before they impact on product or service delivery.

  • In contrast, the reactive RCA is generally used for identifying both obvious and underlying causes of an issue that has negatively affected output by breaking them down into simple cause-and-effect relationships.

  • The root cause(s) must be remedied to prevent recurrence.
