Come and relax and sew for two days with other patchworkers and quilters in a lovely peaceful country setting at Cottage Hill Creek, MacMasters Beach. ​ Choose from projects and kits available and make it in a weekend or bring your own projects to sew.
Teacher, Jenelle Kent, is a qualified school teacher and one of Australia's leading patchwork designers. Her designs are frequently published in internationally distributed magazines and her patterns sell world wide. ​
Ballaarat Quilters does not hold beginning classes. However we can provide information about classes available elsewhere and other resources freely available in the public domain. Potential members are welcome to attend two meetings before making a decision to apply for membership.
Our after school classes will introduce a love of sewing to those aged 9 and over, including teenagers. Our students learn a variety of basic skills from hand stitching to machine use and then go on to use that knowledge to create their own project.
This course caters for students with a range of sewing abilities who wish to learn more about sewing and garment making. A practical course which includes basic, as well as more advanced sewing techniques and allows students to choose their own project.
