We are two crafty chicks who love crochet, scrapbooking and playing with paper. Deb Rawson and Bronwyn Aish are passionate about all things crafty.
Bron also happens to be Debs sister-in-law, making us ultimate crafting buddies and best friends.
We have brought to reality a lifetime dream – we have opened our own Craft store – Craft Haven.
The shop stocks supplies for all things crafty – from paper crafts to crochet. There are workshops to learn and hone your craft skills. Also the online store is available for you to shop from the convenience of your home.

The class will cater for intermediate sewers. All students will be helped, shown techniques and short cuts. Bring pattern, material & sewing kit, current sewing project, or idea to the first lesson.
Our after school sessions are for those teens (13+) who want their own style, or who are bored with hand sewing and want to extend their skills.
Sewing classes are offered by Zippers Alterations and Repairs for all skill level.Â
This class is currently only offered as a private sewing class (on day/time to suit you, dependent on time availability). Â It includes how to pad a form/dressmakers dummy to your desired size and then how to make a basic pattern from draping fabric on the form to make a simple bodice or skirt.
Sewing is a practical must-have skill that’s useful for anyone looking to complete creative projects in Whangarei. Learn to utilise your sewing machine to its fullest potential. And no, its doesn’t need to be a BERNINA or Bernetta sewing machine to attend our sewing classes.
