Eponymous owner Winnie Williams uses Winnie’s Custom Fashion Designs as a stage from which she illuminates the mesmerizing world of fashion. Modest Custom Fashion Designs and various creative fashion classes for all ages and skill levels are offered.
Quilting I series course is offered by Memories by the Yard. This series is designed with the beginner in mind. If you are a new beginner, we will start with the basics.
If you have never knitted before, register for Knit 101-A. After completion of Knit 101-A, you can register for Knit 101-B to complete your knowledge of the basics. If you already know some of the basics but want a refresher on stitches, you can register for Knit 101-B.
Know Your Knits 101 is a two-part series so that we can explore and practice sewing different kinds of knits (there are SEW many!). Choosing a simple pair of leggings, lounge pants/shorts or skirt lets us focus on technique and fit without feeling rushed.
Our classes are designed to introduce you to the basics of quilting by the quilters teaching the classes. From rotary cutting, pressing and block and quilt assembly!
We will meet 6 days in a two-month timeframe to learn new stitches and techniques, get any help that we need, and to show off our projects!
