Reach Forklift Truck Training (Reach Novice)

This is typically completed over five days and includes theory and practical training in the following areas:

• Responsibilities under the health & safety at work act, 1974, PUWER & LOLER
• L117 Approved code of practice
• Operators Safety Code on a D1 Reach Forklift Truck
• Battery maintenance and charging procedures
• Pre-use checks on a D1 Reach Forklift Truck
• Factors affecting stability
• Motive controls
• Hydraulic controls on a D1 Reach Forklift Truck
• Manoeuvring in open and confined area’s including entry & aisle safety procedures
• Stacking at different levels
• Destacking at different levels

After training has been completed, you will have three tests to complete; a theory test, a pre-use inspection test and the practical skills test. Each of these needs to be passed to be successful.

If you select the option to add ITTSAR accreditation, you will be provided with an ITSSAR certificate and ID card.  Should you not wish to add this option you will be provided with a 2 Start Pass Certificate.
