Ready Set Dance is a fun and upbeat dance class for Preschoolers!
Ready Set Dance is a dance class designed specifically for girls and boys aged 2 -5 years with a combination of dance styles included in every class.
Our Ready Set Dance class has two levels. Classes can be split into age groups (2-3 years and 4-5 years) or it can be combined with the teacher selecting exercises to suit the different needs of the students.
At Encore we believe that dance is for everyone. Encore is a place where dancers can learn, grow, and express themselves in a encouraging and relaxed environment.
We believe that what we teach is so much more than just dance steps. We consider that dance teaches many life qualities that young people need such as coordination, fitness, confidence, self-esteem, respect, trust and resilience.
Our motto is - we raise HAPPY, CONFIDENT dancers no matter their level or ability. Our main goal is to ensure that the students leave our classrooms with a sense of pride and joy as they take on their knowledge of proper dance technique.
Our dance classes cover all facets from the recreational dancer through to opportunities for the dancer wishing to be challenged more. All of our classes combine teaching proper technique, self esteem, working with fellow students, and respect.
Our philosophy is to make dance fun for everyone! That is why our teachers bring high energy, great music, and fun combinations to class every week. Placement into class is decided by the age of the student and their dance experience.
In these classes, children are encouraged to use their imagination and expand their creativity. However, this is not just "Play" ballet! Within this structure the basic grounding of ballet and dance technique is introduced including correct posture and the strengthing of different muscle groups.
Toddler/Kinder Dance classes are offered by Backstage Dance Academy.
This class is ideal for our youngest little dancers, especially devised for their young bodies and their ability. It’s their very first dance class! READY SET DANCE classes are an hour of total fun jam packed with jazz, tap, hip hop, singing and music.
Heidi's School of Dance welcomes students from the age of three with our specifically designed ‘Tiny Tots’ classes for pre-school aged children who love to dance.
Our Mummy and Me program is offered to younger children, between the ages of 18 months and 3 years of age. It gives Mum, dad (or care giver) an opportunity to join in and share their child's experience and get moving themselves.
