A Real Estate Traineeship, or Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice is a qualification from the current Real Estate Training Package CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. There are Government incentives available to employers when employing a trainee.
The first step is to ascertain the eligibility of trainees. Usually trainees are eligible although, there are some exemptions to this, and most qualifications completed whilst at school will not affect employer funding.
Traineeships can be Full time, Part-time or School-based. If completing as a school-based traineeship, the trainee must undertake a minimum 100 days (750 hours) paid employment (50 days per year, over 2 years).
Steps for employers to take when looking to put on a trainee:
Find a suitable candidate
Undertake funding eligibility check. Complete Expression of Interest (EOI) form (Complete Property Training will provide this)
We organize with an apprenticeship provider to sign all parties to a traineeship agreement
Complete Property Training develops a training plan to suit all parties. Studies are completed on the job as well as in the classroom. Incentive payments paid at 6 months and 12 months. CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice issued upon completion of studies and workplace tasks.
Our Real Estate Traineeships are tailored to suit the three main job titles in the Industry. Sales, Property Management and Auctioneering. There are 18 units of study in a CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice Traineeship. Complete Property Training has added a further unit to ensure that all Trainees are eligible to obtain a Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence at completion of their Traineeship (a Full Licence is 19 units of competency). Students complete the study requirements in two (2) stages, the first being the 12 units that make up the Salesperson & Property Manager’s Registration Course.
