DurationThe recorder is an ancient instrument and a very good instrument for a child to start their musical career with – many of our teachers began with the recorder. It is inexpensive and portable, and in recorder lessons, children begin developing music-reading, finger independence, coordination, and group playing skills.

Recorder classes are offered by Rotorua Music School. You are able to request a preferred day of the week, we will co-ordinate lesson times where possible.
