In 1994, Stu McIntosh founded Insight Enterprises, with the goal of assisting people with disabilities reach their employment goals. In 2000, Insight Enterprises became a service provider for the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) and subsequently expanded.
Into the WSIB market in 2008 at which time a collaborative business relationship was developed between Stu and Renee Daudlin-Iacobelli, of Lexhan Rehabilitation. As Stu eyed retirement, Renee purchased Insight Enterprises in 2011.
Our First Aid courses in Edmonton cover everything from basic first aid, to cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, AED use, and disease prevention.
In this one-day course, students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult, child, or infant whose heart has stopped or who is choking, learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of a stroke, and learn 2-rescuer CPR.
Candidates will learn a variety of different CPR techniques and be able to handle a variety of different CPR scenario’s. Certification in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED’s) is included in the course.
You will learn, among other things, to provide specific treatments while waiting for the pre-hospital emergency services, to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and to administer adrenaline by auto-injector.
The Mental Health First Aid training program is offered by Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health. SASWH offers this two-day training in a classroom format.
