A Refresher Forklift Operator Competency Certificate in accordance with the Worksafe NZ approved "Code of Practice for training operators & instructors of powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts)", is awarded on satisfactory completion of this course.
A re-licensing course for operators who have held or already hold a Basic Forklift Operator Certificate which must not be older than 12 months.
The course contains a review of basic safety principles, calculations for more complex loads and the effect of attachments and lift heights on forklift capacity and stability.
Approx 4 hours theory and an assessment of practical abilities in a narrow aisle situation.
