This course helps you to understand how the body reacts to stress, how it can affect health, and most importantly, how to manage stress. This course has specific advice for chilcare practitioners and teaching staff.
This gives the trainee an outline of strategies of self help, in order to reduce the pressure they feel, and prevent it leading to stress. It focuses on Time management, as Time is often a great driver of pressure.
Understanding and dealing with avoidance
The demands and challenges of today’s busy and ever-changing world often result in increasing stress levels. Stress can affect performance at work and also be a contributing factor to ill-health.
Stress can be a positive thing, which drives us on and helps us to grow, develop and be stimulated. However, when stress reaches a certain level, it can overcome a person’s ability to cope and can impact on their physical and mental health.
