This course picks up from the Respiratory Protection Awareness course. Where atmospheric hazards cannot be removed, are unknown, or cannot be maintained below allowable limits, workers must be protected through delivered air.
The most common tool for workers exposed to these types of conditions is a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). This course is designed for individuals exposed to atmospheres requiring a SCBA in the workplace. Training will be specific to the manufacturer in question.

The Confined Space Entry Rescue course picks up where the Confined Space Entry Awareness course left off. It provides supplemental training to build on the participants’ expertise and meet the requirements of OH&S.
