Our Sail Canada certified instructors will teach you all you need to know to be able to handle a dinghy on your own in light to medium strength winds using KSC’s fleet of easy-to-sail training boats.
Our mission is “to develop the spiritual, relational, and physical potential of young people through sail training, shipboard life, and associated activities in a Christian environment” (e.g. an environment of love, grace, humility, and authenticity).
This program is designed for complete beginners and for those wishing to refresh their sailing skills.
The GMDSS is intended to provide an efficient SAR rescue system and also provide for Urgency, Safety, and Routine communications and dissemination of Maritime Safety Information.
You will learn the skills it takes to maneuver a sailboat.
