Heritage College’s Retail Store Administration certificate program, you will learn everything you need to become a manager, supervisor or even business owner in the retail sector. Learn necessary leadership and communications skills, and study resource management
Students will learn how retailing has developed, how retail outlets operate, and how retailers apply retail sales management techniques. Students will also consider factors that affect retailing: globalization, the impact of changing technology, and social and ethical issues.
The program is designed to develop effective leadership and analytic skills toward a strategic understanding of shopper insights and drivers of the value chain.
Offered in partnership with the Bensadoun School of Retail Management at McGill University, a Retail Management Major or Concentration combines business fundamentals with real-time, experiential learning opportunities honouring the growing complexity of the retail sector.
