Rhino 3D (Advanced)

Rhino 3D (Advanced) is offered by Cegep of Old Montreal. This training is aimed at designers of 2d and 3d parts who wish to perfect the concepts already covered in the intermediate level course on the rhino 3d software.

Training aims

• Perfect the concepts already seen in the intermediate level course.
• Understand the advanced functions of the software, particularly in surface modeling, visualization and photo-realistic rendering, as well as its parametric capabilities. 

Prior

• Have successfully completed the Rhino 3D – Intermediate course or have already worked with the software.

Training content

• Volume manipulation technique using 3D control points
• Analysis and evaluation of surface quality
• The parametric possibilities of Rhino 3D (historical and generative)
• Advanced techniques / Sub-D and 3D polygonal meshes
• The use of materials, decals and textures
• Advanced 3D rendering features
• Import/export of 3D geometries to specialized computer graphics software
• Import/export of 3D geometries to software specialized in 3D printing
• Advanced level 3D modeling project
• Production of illustrations and photo-realistic renderings of the project

Certificate

• At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate from the Society for Training and Continuing Education (SOFEDUC) with continuing education units (UEC).
