A good rigger is equal to half a crane operator and a good rigger is also called the backbone of a crane operator and this rigger later becomes a good crane operator and foreman. The importance of a crane operator in a crane is as much as that of the rigger. Without a rigger the crane operator is also cut in half. If you are an oil field or offshore rigger, then your salary is not less than any crane operator because your responsibility there increases a lot.
