This dogging and rigging course at Saferight is a combination course for students who are are looking to acquire the necessary licence to work in the mines or construction industry as a dogman and rigger.

This unit specifies the outcomes required to perform all duties as a dogman such as slinging techniques, including the selection and inspection of lifting gear and/or the directing of the crane operator in the movement of the load when the load is out of view of the crane/operator for licensing purposes.

Once students have completed their Dogman module, they will progress to a Rigging basic level course.
