The different types of rigging equipment
This course gives participants a basic knowledge of the principles related to safe hoisting and rigging practices in the construction industry. Full attendance is mandatory.
This course is for a student whom utilizes rigging (lifting) equipment for material lifting and handling. Lifting equipment includes: chain slings, wire rope slings, synthetic slings and shackles.
This course is designed for workers who are required to lift or move heavy loads. Course content includes: Identify potential rigging hazards Saskatchewan OH&S legislated standards Employer, supervisor and worker responsibilities Calculate load weights and limits.
