This course is for a student whom utilizes rigging (lifting) equipment for material lifting and handling. Lifting equipment includes: chain slings, wire rope slings, synthetic slings and shackles. This course does not include training to operate powered lifting machinery.

This is a one day course has been designed for all managers, supervisors, workers and maintenance staff. An idea class size is up to 12 participants.
Basic Rigging is an eight-hour interactive course that trains the students on fundamental rigging practices.
Rigging training is 8 hours in duration and begins with a classroom theory component that is followed by a written exam.
After successful completion of this training course the participant will have sufficient knowledge to safely use/operate rigging and meet Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements and CSA standards regarding rigging operations.Â
