Course Description

This course is designed for individuals who will manage the site rigging loft as a Rigging Loft Controller. This course is not designed for individuals wishing to become Lifting Equipment Examiners or Inspectors.

This course is designed for individuals who will manage the site rigging loft as a Rigging Loft Controller. This course is not designed for individuals wishing to become Lifting Equiment Examiners or Inspectors.

What certificate will i receive?

Upon successful completion of the course learners will be awarded with a LEEA Accredited Certificate, valid for 2 years. Certificates can be verified through our website or through the LEEA website.

What can the course lead to?

LEEA accredited training is a global standard for lifting professionals. Learners will be able to obtain employment as a Rigging Loft Controller in industries such as construction, renewables and oil and gas.

What is the duration of the course?

• The optimum ‘contact time’ for this assessment is seen as 8 hours over 1 days. Optimum contact time is based on the maximum number of learners attending.

What are the entry requirements?

• There are no pre-requisites for the initial training. However, Learners should have previous experience in lifting operations, in particular the types of lifting equipment stored in a rigging loft and pre-use inspection.
