Qualified Rigger training is offered by Advanced Safety and Training. We provide custom safety and training programs, safety inspections, comprehensive consulting services, and staffing services to companies across the United States.
This basic rigger and signaler class covers an introduction to rigging, determining load weight, sling angles and stresses, center of gravity, basic hitches, sling types, lifting hardware, below-the-hook-devices, verbal communication, and hand signals.Â
This course is also required to maintain a Rigging Worker certificate in New York City. Students will specifically review hazard recognition and prevention according to OSHA and NYC DOB standards.
