Qualified Rigger / Signal Person Training is offered by Colorado Safety & Supply Company, LLC. We offer safety training courses on or off site to help our customers and employees stay compliant with standard industry regulations.
Rigging and Material Handling Training is offered by Associated Builders and Contractors. The goal of our courses is to reduce workplace fatalities and injuries by teaching the application of OSHA standards in hazard recognition and prevention. We offer a variety of classes at our office.
OSHA now requires that signal persons, riggers, and operators be trained, tested, and qualified according to OSHA Rule 1926.1400. This training includes getting workers familiar with both verbal and hand signals.
During this 32 hour course, students will be provided with an overview of OSHA and DOB policies, procedures, and ASME rigging standards with a special emphasis on supervision and coordination of rigging crews and rigging equipment setup.
