This 1-day course provides participants with the skills and knowledge required to carry out the risk management process in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. The course is often a requirement for mine workers who are wanting to advance their career into a position of leading hand, supervisor, superintendent, deputy or those who are elected as a Site Safety and Health Representative.

Upon the successful completion of this course, participants will obtain an ID card with competency details along with the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
This unit requires well developed written and verbal communication skills as it is a Certificate IV level unit. You may be required to complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment prior to enrolling onto the course.
