Roles and responsibilities of First Aiders
Reporting of accidents
Contents of first aid kit
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Bleeding, choking and shock
Treatment of minor injuries.
Emergency First Aid at Work Prerequsites
Candidates must be 16 years of age at the time of taking the assessment.
Due to Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) legislation, you are required to bring a form of identification with you on the first day of the course.

The three-day first aid at work course is our most thorough first aid course and is equivalent to a Level 3 certificate. It is recognised by the Health and Safety Executive and meets the requirements of the First Aid at Work regulations (1981).
A practical course for anyone wishing to attain an HSE approved appointed persons emergency first aid qualification.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one day course which will enable you to act as an 'Appointed Person' in relation to First Aid in the workplace.
Bumps and falls are inevitable and thankfully most aren’t serious, but it is important that you know what to do if you find yourself in a first aid emergency. This course will teach you simple life-saving techniques, so you will feel more confident should you need to use them in real life.
Our one-day, classroom-based RYA First Aid course covers the principles of first aid with an emphasis on working in a water-based environment. A valid first aid certificate is a pre requisite for all RYA Instructor courses and this course is perfect for those wishing to become an RYA Instructor.
