Our goal is to refresh and grow the Latin dance community in Manchester, improve the dancing level.
The Salsa Manchester organization was created in October 2010. The Salsa scene in Manchester has existed for longer than in almost any other European country - about 15-20 years but surprisingly remains very small.
Since 2010 we have taught Cuban Salsa and Bachata around Manchester in many locations (Cuba Cafe, Manchester University, Royal Northern College of music, Community Centres in Salford and Rusholme).
In 2012 we decided to open our own dance school - "La Suerte Dance School", to provide dance classes on a daily basis, to give our students the opportunity to learn and explore Cuban dance and culture.
Our goal is to refresh and grow the Latin dance community in Manchester, improve the dancing level and promote Cuban Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba across Manchester
Ballroom Dancing consists of the Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango and Viennese Waltz. In addition to these authentic rhythms, slow and quick rhythm dancing is also popular.
Latin classes are offered by Bristol Dance Co. Whether you are a beginner looking to take your first steps on the dancefloor, or if you are already dancing and you would like to improve your technique, Bristol Dance Company is here to help.
We will offer you a friendly, professional and personalised dance lesson for you and your partner. We will teach you all the steps you and your partner needs to know in just a couple of sessions.
