Certification
At the end of the Russian Language Course you will have an option to take a final internal exam and receive a Beginners Certificate in Russian. It may also be useful for your future career planning or you can put it on the wall for your own satisfaction!
Course Material
You will be required to purchase your own hard copy of a course book “Tochka Ru A1″ either from us or from the publisher. If you order it from us, we’ll bring for you to the lesson or post it within the UK. You may also need an English-Russian dictionary, an electronic one will do; or it could be a small pocket size version. Having an MP3 player in the car is a plus. The course tutor will use Russian Language Centre additional teaching materials which they will distribute to the class. You may wish to keep them in an A4 file. You will definitely need a pen and a notepad!
The Russian Language Centre commenced operations in 2009 in Manchester to satisfy a growing need for genuine Russian Language Lessons. By genuine we mean Russian lessons given by qualified teachers who are native Russian speakers. We made this commitment to quality at the start and it continues to underpin our business operations and services today.
Since our inception we have successfully taught Russian at all levels to hundreds of students in group classes and one-to-one lessons in Greater Manchester and across the world by Skype. Our students study with us for a variety of business and personal reasons, but all have a common goal, to be able to communicate successfully using the Russian language.
We teach business people who have to travel to Russia to discuss supply and procurement contracts in the energy industry. We teach people who plan to go to Russia on holiday. We teach the children of Russian parents and we teach people who have married or hope to marry a Russian partner.
To meet this varied demand we offer group classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, in company training and one-to-one classes that can be designed to suit particular requirements.
Our language services are complemented by a range of business and cultural services and we have established one of the largest and most active Russian Social Clubs in the Northwest with over 390 members! We set-up the social club partly because it was a fun thing to do, and we have made many new friends through it, but mainly because we wanted to create an environment where our students could practise what they have learnt in class.
