We offer Russian Language classes to children from 4 years and older. The aim of our classes is to nurture the interest in Russian language and culture in our pupils and to encourage the use of Russian language as a language of communication in bilingual children.

We work together with the government programme Community Languages Services, which promotes and develops the teaching of community languages used by children of school age from the minority groups.

Our teaching methods include the following:
articulatory and phonemic exercises
development games;
arts and crafts;
reading and writing;
learning about the world around us and forming the understanding of the surrounding environment from the bilingual experience
We are a volunteer led organisation founded by a group of Russian Speaking mothers, who live in Southampton. Our aim is to create a Russian Speaking environment for children and adults, to provide opportunity to learn Russian Language, culture, traditions and to hold family and cultural events connected to the Russian culture
Cultural events and family days - we organise cultural events for the the families with competitions, games, art workshops and tasty snacks. Parents will have an opportunity to meet and communicate with each other over a cup of tea or coffee.
Russian language school “Buratino” - working along with Community Language Services, our purpose is to assist communities in preservation and cultivation of the Russian language.
We organise small group courses in our offices in Holborn in the evenings.
This 20 week course will introduce some of the basic structures of Russian through topics related to social and everyday life in the countries where it is spoken. The focus is on listening,speaking and reading simple materials that introduce basic grammatical structures.
Russian language class is offered by Newcastle International School NIS.Our courses are from beginner to advanced level. We recognise each student has individual language learning goals.
Russian course is offered by The University of Edinburgh Short Courses. Our courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced teachers who are extremely dedicated to ensuring you leave with all the necessary skills to broaden your horizons and never be lost for words again.
