Our health and safety training courses can quality for CPD points with the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) and the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP).
This course contains 2 technical hours and may be eligible for HRPA and/or BCRSP CPD points.
Open Classroom Training
MidSouthWest offers a large selection of open training classes - both online and in person at locations across Ontario.
​All of our classes are taught by experienced and knowledgeable trainers who have been trained to deliver courses approved by Ontario's Chief Prevention Officer, including Joint Health and Safety Committee Part I, Part II and Refresher training.
This is a workshop covering the training requirements of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act. The workshop takes approximately 4 hours and we can accommodate up to 15 participants. TDG manuals are provided and certificates of training issued to each participant.
SGI 6 & 6 Training (Mandatory Driver Education) provides the student with 6 hours of in-class instruction and 6 hours of in-car instructions.
Our Defensive Driving course explores the six components of the SAFER System of defensive driving: Space, Attitude, Foresight, Eyesight, and Responsibility.

This course is designed for individuals and companies involved in the transportation, shipping and receiving of dangerous goods in Canada. Training is valid for three years, if working within Canada.
