Course Description
The aim of this 4WD training course is to improve your knowledge and skills in safely operating a four-wheel-drive vehicle in a variety of hazardous conditions and all-weather situations in regional and remote Australia.
Poor driving habits in a 4WD vehicle can unknowingly increase your maintenance costs and the consequences can be expensive or even life threatening. This training accommodates all types of learners including inexperienced drivers of 4WD/AWD.
Public courses are held regularly and private courses can be arranged by contacting Eagle Training Services NT. Private courses are charged at a course price of $1,410 per course with a maximum of 3 participants allowed.

Safety checks/cabin drills
Journey planning and preparation
4WD/AWD systems and vehicle handling
Defensive driving including driver attitudes and behaviours
Fatigue management
Emergency braking
Participants who successfully complete all components of the course will be issued a Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency:

With this in mind we are able to offer an extensive range of safety courses which can be tailored to meet your specific organisational needs. We are able to offer on site training for your organisation or public courses within our training facility. All safety courses come with hands on practical application and training.
3 hour interactive learning session for groups of up to 12 people. Larger groups are available on request
The DECA Pro Driver Program focuses on human behaviour and important theories behind safe and efficient driving. This results in significant improvements in fleet and driver safety along with reduced fuel, maintenance costs and reduced environmental footprint.
This includes the systematic, safe and efficient control of all of the vehicle functions and the effective management of hazardous situations encountered whilst driving in operational conditions (workplace)
The Course will help you understand more about speed management, gap selection, hazard awareness and safe following distances and prepare you for when you drive unsupervised on your P's.
The aim of this program is to provide learners with migrant and refugee backgrounds with the skills, knowledge and resources required to become safe, competent drivers and successfully gain their Victorian Probationary Drivers Licence.
