Healthcare Professionals working with adults are required to complete a training course for the Safeguarding Adults at Risk (Vulnerable Adults), often referred to as SOVA.
Course aims – Safeguarding (SOVA) training:
This course is designed to enable delegates to understand the principles and instil a good grounding of knowledge of Safeguarding vulnerable adults. On completion of the course, delegates will be competent to identify, report on and give support in the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults in their workplace.
