The Florida Safety Officer program is based on NFPA 1521 Standard for Fire Department Safety Officer Professional Qualifications. Ricky Rescue Training Academy offers the courses required for Incident Safety Officer and Health and Safety Officer certification.
These courses can be can be completed individually or combined to apply for a Florida State Safety Officer certificate of competency through the Florida Bureau of Fire Standards & Training.
