We would love to introduce you to Daniel, he is the only dance instructor in Scotland who teach all styles of Latin dances and kizomba continuously for the last 12 years.
Daniel is a fully insured & licensed dance teacher and DJ. He has over 16 years of teaching experience both in the field of martial Arts and Latin dances. He has been teaching salsa, merengue, bachata, kizomba, Cha-Cha in a few cities in Scotland and also abroad.
He created and provided events with a unique and special atmosphere that had not been discovered before.
Daniel has lived and travelled afar to perfect his dancing skills.
He has lived in London, Edinburgh and has travelled to Cuba, Barcelona, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Berlin, Athens, Prague and all over the UK to learn from the best of the best.
It is great for socialising and classes give a fun and exciting approach to learning the fundamental basic steps.
This is only available as a 6 week course which starts assuming you know nothing, and helps you to be able to dance basic salsa confidently on the social dancefloor.
Intermediate/advanced level This level concentrates on working different techniques and turn patterns together with shines, arm-work and body movement to create a flow & style to your dancing. For people who have been dancing over 1 year (an assessment will be needed before joining this class).
Salsa classes are offered by Keal School of Dancing.We have a team of experienced dance teachers who will support you every step of the way. Not only is dancing great exercise for all ages, you will also meet new friends along the way.
Salsa dances include Mambo, Merengue and Salsa itself. A forerunner of Salsa, Mambo was invented in the 1930s in Havana, Cuba. Heavily influenced by Jazz musicians and accompanied by fast and fun moves. Mambo dancing can be seen in the film 'Dirty Dancing'. Merengue is a dance with a two-step beat,
