Introduction - Little Flower Engineering Institute

The Ernakulam Social Service Society of the Archdiocese of Verapoly visualized, in 1962, the transformation of the youth into a productive and progressive integer of the ever-evolving world of technical workforce.

They laid the foundation of our present, the most modern Technical Institute on a humble but firmly built simple technical workshop in Kalamassery, named Little Flower Engineering Institute (LFEI), with St. Theresa of Lisieux, popularly known as “Little Flower” as its patron saint.

Recognized as an ITI by NCVT in 1965, LFEI has been managed by Little Flower Trust for Education and Technical Studies since 2000. The institute boasts industry-experienced faculty, adaptable students, and support from industrial conglomerates, offering both technical facilities and employment opportunities.

Despite high demand, particularly in the Advanced Training Programme (ATP), LFEI is a hub for foreign recruitment, recognized as the best Industrial Training Institute and the largest Trade Test Center in the state. In 2011, it was honoured as a "Center of Excellence" by SKIP, marking its outstanding progress and innovation in Technical & Vocational Training.

LFEI, the first and only private ITI in Kerala to receive this distinction, is committed to empowering students in the current digital era, providing life-changing skills for global betterment while continuously upgrading its facilities.
