SAT

The SAT, also known as Scholastic Assessment Test, is an entrance exam required by many colleges and universities to make the decision for admissions. The SAT is designed to evaluate the readiness of students to study in competitive undergrad schools.

This is why the exam is given by school students before applying to the college.The SAT is a multiple-choice, pencil and paper test designed and administrated by the College Board.

Why SAT?

As per College Board, more than 2 million students in 175 countries and territories take the SAT every year. Most of the universities and colleges in USA require the SAT or ACT exam score for undergraduate applications.

Admission is given based on factors like grades, essays, extra-curricular activities, and contribution to the community. The SAT score plays a critical role in attending a competitive undergraduate school/program.
