SAT Preparation Course is offered by Academy International. We are able to offer students extra tuition from an early age, which will give them a huge advantage as they take their first steps in education. We understand that starting school can be quite a big step, and it may take some children longer to settle than others in KS1.
On the other hand, maybe your child has really taken to school and you want to push them further ahead. Either way, we have tutors that can help! Subjects covered include Maths, English (Reading, Grammar, and Phonics), Science, Languages and preparation for SATs both in group or 1-2-1 settings.
Once a student begins their next chapter of their education in secondary school, it is vital that they lay a good foundation for success in their formative years. Years 7-9 are vital in preparing them for GCSEs, A Levels and beyond, and we have tutors able to help students excel in this transitional period.
At this point students will be studying three separate Sciences (Biology, Chemistry & Physics), ICT, typically a foreign language such as French, Spanish or German, as well as humanities (History and Geography) and core subjects Maths and English. We have tutors available for all of these subjects and many more!
Established for nearly 30 years, Academy 1nternational offers individualised training and tuition programmes designed to help

The purpose of these tests is for teachers and schools to measure what each child has understood and retained by comparing their results to national averages, Individual results can be shared with parents at the end of the school year.
SATS are the compulsory exams taken by 7 and 11 year olds at different stages of the primary school curriculum in years 2 and 6 respectively. A score of 100 means the child is working ‘at the expected standard’ for a Year 6 child. 80 is the lowest possible score and 120 is the highest.
