Scaffold Competent Person Training

Scaffold Competent Person Training is offered by ABC Heart of America. We provide industry-leading apprenticeship programs and hands-on training for electricians, plumbers, pipe fitters, carpenters, and construction laborers, enabling our members to gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the construction industry.

Learning Objectives:

• Define a competent person and explain their importance in construction safety.
• Explain OSHA standards for scaffolding systems, including regulations and best practices.
• Identify common scaffolding hazards and appropriate corrective measures.
• Outline the skills and abilities needed to be a designated competent person.
• Communicate scaffolding hazards to coworkers, managers, and others.
