The course is aligned to the nationally recognised unit CPCCLRG3001 License to Perform Rigging Basic Level which specifies the outcomes required to undertake basic rigging work

The program addresses the following:
Licensing, Regulations and Duty of Care
Personal Safety and Effective Workplace Communication
Plant and Equipment Inspection
Conduct the Risk Assessment Process and Manage Risk
Installation of Hoist / Master Climber / Platforms / Safety Nets / Arrest Systems
Ropes, Bends, Hitches, Whipping and Splicing
Erection of structural steel and pre-cast panels
Work Safely with others
Assessment
Knowledge based questionnaires and practical demonstration
Pre Requisities
Must have basic English literacy skills and be over 18 years of age
Candidate must hold a current Dogging (DG) High Risk Licence

Upon successful completion participants will be issued with the following Statement of Attainment which will be recognised nationally:

What To Wear
All course participants are required to wear appropriate work attire. Steel capped safety boots are required for all high risk work courses.

The CPCCLRG3002 Licence to Perform Rigging Intermediate Level unit covers the outcomes required to perform rigging work at the intermediate level, which includes all the outcomes for rigging work at the basic level, and also includes rigging of cranes.
During your studies, you’ll learn the essential safety and communication protocols at construction sites and gain a range of accredited work permits. The qualification includes units of competency that cover common skills and knowledge for the building and construction industry
This course is designed for participants to gain the necessary skills to plan, prepare & complete basic rigging work as prescribed by the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
WorkSafe Notice of Assessment is valid for 60 days, you must lodge your NOA via the Worksafe Portal or at Australia Post before the expiration date. Failure to do so will mean you are no longer competent and you will be required to complete the full course again at the full price.
This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and provides applicants with the knowledge and skills required to obtain a High Risk Licence to Perform Rigging duties.
