• Apply various knots and hitches to lifting and fall protection circumstances.
• Assemble light-duty scaffold fiber rope blocks and rigging
• Construct steel cable termination for hoisting cables on suspended scaffolds.
• Describe how to prevent exposure to hazards in suspended scaffolding systems.
• Identify New York City DOB and OSHA regulations that relate to the design of suspended scaffolds and their use.
• Identify the most common dangers of suspended scaffolding
• Recognize the suspended scaffolding system and its critical components.
• Demonstrate the ability to properly inspect and position the individual fall arrest system used by suspended scaffold workers.
