This Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) course is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to acquire a working knowledge of the self- contained breathing apparatus .
This program will include both lecture and discussion sessions along with selected visual aids ,respiratory hazards, SCBA equipment inspection, care and maintenance, along with user limitations.
Practical skills such as donning, doffing, normal operations and emergency operations are developed through specific hands on exercises.
This course is recommended for all personnel wishing to expand their knowledge of SCBA. This program will provide attendees with a comprehensive look at all of the elements needed to build confidence in the use and care of the SCBA.
