JGM Science Tutors is a one of a kind tutoring agency that specialises in providing one-to-one tutoring for science. We are the only tutoring agency in the country that specialises in a subject and is run by a fully qualified teacher.

We are a small team of highly qualified and results driven tutors that guarantee not only fantastic subject knowledge, but quality of teaching, passion and commitment.​

Our Story

JGM Science Tutors was founded by entrepreneur, teacher and rapper, Matt Green, in 2017. Outside of the tuition sphere, students across the globe know Green as 'The Rapping Science Teacher', where he educates and entertains students through the art of rap.

To date, Green's total view count on social media has surpassed 80 million, and he has over 500,000 followers online. Academically, Green holds a Masters Degree from Imperial College and, prior to being a full time entrepreneur, was a teacher and Head of Department. 

As a teacher, he was rated as a Outstanding by the Office for Standards in Education (OFSTED) in 2013. From here, he began to privately tutor alongside his teaching career. It was here he discovered what really helps students to learn on a one-to-one basis, and what parents really care about when looking for a tutor: Bringing passion and enthusiasm to a subject, being able to connect with and motivate young people, and being committed to each individual student taken on.​

All of these principles were brought together to form JGM Science Tutors and has been the fundamental reason for our results and success to date. We work very hard to hire only tutors that have these principles and we are very proud of the team we have built over the years.

Two of our most experienced, most highly reviewed, and highest result delivering tutors have now moved into management positions with JGM, as we continue to push the envelope on quality of lessons for students and simplicity for parents.
