Science Tuition

At FCL Edinburgh, we support children of all ages and abilities with maths, English and science. We offer individualised worksheet-based programmes focusing on the National Curriculum. We are the largest and most successful tuition centre in Edinburgh.

The principal focus of science teaching in key stage 1 is to enable pupils to experience and observe phenomena, looking more closely at the natural and humanly-constructed world around them. They should be encouraged to be curious and ask questions about what they notice.

Science Tuition is offered by FocusTuition. We believe that by focusing on improving Maths and English skills that this will lead to an easier ability to engage with a variety of other subjects, including Science, IT, Technology, Languages, and much more.

Science is a core subject and often split into 3; Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Most schools make Sciences compulsory placing it in a group of subjects that cannot be avoided. Students need a variety of skills that varies depending on which of the sciences the content is based on
