Your A Level Science exams can then be taken at any of our exam centres. If you intend to sit your exams at a non Tutors & Exams centre but they cannot offer CPAC provision it’s not a problem.
There’s no requirement for any prior arrangements, just let your exam centre know you’re sitting practicals with Tutors & Exams. Once you have completed your CPAC we’ll send over all relevant documentation to your exam centre for endorsement purposes.
Therefore, we recommend candidates sit International GCSE Sciences with either Pearson Edexcel, or Cambridge International Education where an additional exam paper can be taken as an alternative to the practical.
Tutors & Exams is staffed by colleagues who, collectively, have over 100 years of experience working within the education sector. The senior management team, headed by company founders Jenny & Chris Spraggett, have formerly been employed as managers for Awarding Organisations, Exams Officers at large comprehensive schools or have worked within corporate environments.
Our assessment services are primarily aimed at those outside of mainstream education e.g. Home Educated learners, Private Candidates and we strive to make your examination experience the best it can possibly be.
Since the organisation was first established in 2014, headquartered in Coventry, we now have a network of exam centres nationwide with more planned to open in the coming years. All of our exam centres are close to major transport hubs (road/rail) with nearby parking facilities, and in the locality of amenities (cafe’s etc) where chaperones are able wait while examinations take place.
With science being equal part practice and equal part theory, our tutors encourage children to demonstrate their understanding of the natural world around them. Arranged into small groups, children are able to apply their inquisitive minds to this exciting subject.
This support is provided in the form of weekend tuition classes offering a series of educational programmes focusing on Maths, English and Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for children up to GCSE level (KS4).
