This Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (EWPA) Yellow Card training course provides the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform under 11 metres. The scissor lift certification class is designed to ensure that successful participants are able to safely use various types of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, including Boom Lifts under 11 metres.

 

Our Scissor Lift training will teach you the skills to:

  • Operate elevated work platforms under 11 meters
  • Operate a scissor lift
  • Understand equipment characteristics, technical capabilities and limitations of equipment
  • Understand operational procedures
  • Identify hazards and assess risks associated with operation
  • Check and assess operational capabilities of equipment
  • Access, interpret and apply technical information relating to the planning and operation of equipment

 

Our Boom Lift under 11 metres training will teach you the skills to:

  • Operate elevated work platforms under 11 metres
  • Operate a Boom Lift under 11 metres
  • Understand equipment characteristics, technical capabilities and limitations of equipment
  • Understand operational procedures
  • Identify hazards and assess risks associated with operation
  • Check and assess operational capabilities of equipment

The EWPA Yellow Card training course takes 1 day and upon successful completion of this course you will be issued with a nationally accredited statement of attainment. Your EWPA yellow card will be issued by the Elevated Work Platform Association (EWPA) and can only be obtained by completing a training course by a registered training organisation.
