The Yellow card con?rms that the holder of the ticket has been trained in the safe use of the scissor and vertical lifts that do not require a High Risk Work Licence.
Note:
A separate accredited ‘above 11mt’ boom type EWP HRWL course is conducted by Loadwise Australia. Enquire for further details if required. Training delivery combines face-to-face Trainer led theory classes and practical sessions.
Pre-Requisite
There are no unit pre-requisites for the Scissor & Vertical Lift (EWPA Yellow Card) course.
To achieve competency in the Scissor & Vertical Lift (EWPA Yellow Card) course Learners will also require the ability to read; correctly interpret signage; speak clearly and unambiguously in English; and to explain, describe and verify sometimes complex needs and issues. Writing is required to the level of completing workplace forms as is an understanding of basic mathematics and calculations.
Pre-enrolment skills checks are used by Loadwise Australia if doubt arises for students that may have language, literacy and numeracy issues.

The course will provide training in the safe use of various types of elevated work platforms including boom type MEWPs with boom length under 11 metres. Participants may complete singular or multiple modules, depending on the type of EWP they will be operating.
Our forklift training includes both High-Risk Work (HRW) courses and Verification of Competency courses. These provides licensing and special training to operate different types of forklift equipment.
The Australian Standards 3745-2010, Planning for emergencies in facilities and AS 4083-2010, Planning for emergencies in Health Care facilities states “All area of a facility shall participate in at least one emergency response exercise involving an evacuation each year.”
This training can be successfully delivered in a Workplace, provided the employer is fully aware of their roles and responsibilities, and can provide suitable facilities and equipment.
