We offer fun, affordable classes in the arts, in subjects including drawing, painting, cartooning, writing, filmmaking and other subjects. Our classes are about having fun and learning new skills, not about tests or grades.
You will learn everything that goes into creating a film and your final film will be eligible to screen at multiple showcases produced by Austin School of Film. A portion of this class includes feedback of work-in-progress.

This workshop combines theoretical and practical elements of cinematography with special emphasis on cultivating a film sensibility.
This course will introduce students to the formal and aesthetic principles of cinema, cultivating students’ literacy in both media form and cultural representation. Many of us watch some variation of film and television each day.
We create audio/visual stories in groups and as individuals, we showcase our work and share our messages with other teens. We develop industry specific skills with access to equipment and get to know professional filmmakers and artists at the forefront of their medium.
