Pre-requisites:

In order to enrol for this course, you must be 18 years of age There are no formal prerequisites required for Certificate II in Security Operations however, language literacy and communication skills are essential. If English is your second language you may be required to complete a short literacy test prior to starting your course.

 

Course Duration:

The Cert II in Security Operations runs over 3 weeks. This is broken into online and face to face learning. The first week is online based learning followed by two weeks Face to Face with our qualified instructors.

  • Apply risk assessment to select and carry out response to security risk situations
  • Monitor and control access and exit of persons and vehicles from premises
  • Patrol premises to monitor property and maintain security
  • Provide First Aid
  • Monitor and control individual and crowd behaviour to maintain security

  • Apply effective communication skills to maintain security
