The security of your computer network is constantly being tested and may be vulnerable to attacks. With the knowledge you gain in this course, you will be able to describe strategies to maintain network security.
Graduates of this course will be able to describe the goals of network security and the mitigation techniques used to lower the risk of data loss. Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to describe strategies to maintain data confidentiality and authenticate user access. You will also be able to describe common threats to network security, triple-A accounting, and backup strategies.
Prior to enrolling in this course, it is recommended that you complete CCTM170 Network Fundamentals and CCTM270 Network Implementation.
